Author's note

KZ BLADERUNNER 1, designed by Kazuyoshi Ishikawa, is a free Chinese display font built from dramatic thick-thin strokes, broad verticals, and sharp blade-like turns. The upright forms look taut and cinematic.

Film posters are its strongest setting, since the severe silhouettes suggest futuristic drama without relying on added effects. The same cut-metal quality suits game packaging, entertainment branding, and science-fiction publishing, where the lettering can echo machinery or monumental architecture through its severe angles and abrupt stroke endings. In event graphics, the pointed strokes can become part of an architectural emblem or mechanical sign rather than functioning as neutral lettering.
