Author's note

La Rosa Muerta by Juan Casco is a free thorny display font built from uneven outlines and branchlike projections. Its letters look hand-drawn, with uneven curves and narrow strokes that twist into pointed hooks. The repeated thorns give the lettering a dark, tangled silhouette.

A horror label or gothic clothing brand could use it to establish a raw, sinister identity. It also suits concert posters and game graphics centered on decay, danger, or haunted landscapes. In those settings, the thorn forms can merge with dead vines and cracked borders.
