Author's note

Labora, designed by Benjamin Stetter of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free monospaced slab serif with a spare, engineered look. Fine strokes meet flat, squared serifs, and rounded letters combine straight sides with clipped curves. The spacing feels steady and mechanical.

As interface lettering, it can suggest a measured readout or technical label. That orderly construction suits technology branding, exhibition signage, and editorial titles. Across these settings, its typewriter spacing and geometric curves provide a precise industrial thread.
