Author's note

Lalsalu by Al Mamun Sumon is a free light sans serif with an unusually airy, upright profile. Its broad capitals meet slimmer lowercase forms, and the generous height of the small letters keeps the texture open and even across a line. Subtle stroke changes, near-circular curves, and clipped joins give the economical drawing a measured modernist character rather than a strictly geometric one.

Editorial mastheads are its clearest role. The restrained shapes also suit cultural branding, gallery packaging, exhibition signage, and museum programs, where the lettering can echo architectural plans or spare abstract artwork and support themes of contemporary art, minimalist fashion, and urban culture.
