Author's note

Lampoon designed by James Vipond, is a free angular techno display font built from broad squared forms and sharp diagonal cuts. Its dense rhythm and clipped corners give the letters a hard digital character with a hint of arcade-era graphics.

Use this free font for game branding, electronic music posters, sci-fi packaging, and title cards where a brief, forceful wordmark is needed. It also suits short headlines and cover lines because the repeated wedges turn simple wording into a strong geometric pattern.

I based this on a font specimen in Dan X. Solo's collection of Art Deco display typefaces. The "Z" and "7" are slightly different from the originals, due to FontStruct limitations.
