Lanning :) by dmadesign of FSI FontShop International GmbH is a free filmstrip dingbat font built from thick right-angled borders and evenly spaced sprocket holes. Its simple geometry closely echoes the edge of photographic film. Repeated rectangular perforations make the motif unmistakable.
Cinema clubs and retro media brands could use these symbols in posters, graphics, and merchandise, where the film motif signals screen culture. The font is most convincing as a framing device for movie-night promotions and festival artwork.
