Author's note

LCR Kitchen Dings by René Miller of Macromedia is a free kitchen dingbat font built from hand-drawn pictures of familiar utensils and cookware. The illustrations use uneven outlines, small hatch marks, and occasional solid areas rather than a uniform icon style. Their loose contours give the collection the charm of quick editorial sketches.

In cookbook publishing, these symbols can mark recipes or section breaks, while cafe packaging can turn the same everyday objects into an informal pattern. Menus and food-themed event graphics are also sensible settings, especially for audiences drawn to home cooking, casual dining, and friendly illustrated design.
