Author's note

Lead by Imagex is a free three-dimensional display font with broad, weighty serif capitals and deep block shadows. Fine diagonal hatching covers the extruded faces. The main letterforms stay solid and forceful, with sharp slab-like serifs and tightly fitted joins that recall oversized sports or circus signage.

Posters are its strongest setting, especially when the lettering needs to act as the central illustrated element. The same carved, forward-projecting forms suit album covers, event graphics, and merchandise with a loud vintage showbill character. Of these uses, poster titles make the best match because the long shadows and engraved texture turn a few words into a complete graphic device.
