Author's note

Leander from Tension Type is a free eroded old-school display font with the rough authority of weathered printing. Its broad serifs and uneven edges make the letters look stamped and worn. The forms remain sturdy and emphatic.

It is especially convincing on frontier-themed posters, where its battered texture can suggest aged playbills or handbills. The same distressed shapes suit whiskey packaging and roots-music merchandise, echoing woodcut illustrations, faded labels, and other period-style graphics.
