Author's note

LeftyMarker by Ted Alspach is a free marker-style brush font with broad, uneven strokes and a loose handwritten build. Curves swell and taper abruptly, and the irregular joins retain the drag and pressure of a felt-tip pen.

As a handmade label, it gives food packaging and cafe branding the directness of a quick counter sign. Its relaxed strokes also suit children's event posters and casual merchandise. It is most convincing on logos, where the uneven letterforms can become the brand's own handwritten mark.
