Author's note

Lekton Italic, credited to the Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino, is a free italic monospaced sans serif with a lean, economical profile. Its slim strokes and pronounced forward angle give the letters a brisk, technical manner. The spacing stays measured and deliberately regular.

Code listings are its strongest setting, where the fixed pitch and light drawing create a calm alternative to heavier programming faces. It also fits technical manuals, editorial sidebars, and understated identity work whose subject matter benefits from a precise, workshop-like voice. Its clearest role is giving code listings a quieter editorial voice.
