LettersBats by M. Klein is a free Gothic initials font built from elaborate, illustrated capitals. Engraved figures, curling leaves, flowers, and dense medieval ornament turn each letter into a small decorative scene.
It can create an illustrated emblem for fantasy publishing or historical events. The pictorial construction lets a book cover treat its opening letter as part of the artwork. Invitations and theatrical posters can draw on the same storybook detail for a period setting.
