Libre Baskerville Italic, designed by Pablo Impallari and Rodrigo Fuenzalida, is a free high-contrast serif italic with a literary air. Its sweeping curves give the capitals a stately profile. Lowercase forms are narrower and more fluid.

Botanical illustrations echo its graceful curves, making it apt for book covers and exhibition posters. It also suits literary magazines and heritage branding, where the pronounced slant adds ceremony. Publishers, galleries, and cultural institutions are its natural audience.
