Author's note

License Plate is a free monospaced display font with the blunt, mechanical build of stamped identification lettering. Its tall upright letters use nearly even strokes, softly rounded corners, and compact spacing, with broad slab-like bars adding a sturdy industrial note.

Designers working on automotive, workshop, or roadside themes can use it for event posters, wayfinding, packaging, and merchandise. The fixed-width shapes suit serial-number graphics and registration-inspired labels, helping a garage brand or vehicle-care product turn its name into a convincing piece of functional hardware on the page.
