Author's note

Light Scribe by DCD is a free trash-style script with tall, skeletal letters traced in several loose, restless lines. Its uneven curves and doubled strokes look quickly scratched onto paper.

Packaging gives this wiry lettering a convincing role on small-run underground music releases and handmade drinks labels. Posters and local event graphics can draw on its raw, overlapping pen marks for a deliberately unpolished atmosphere. It is most convincing when the lettering itself becomes part of the sketch, like a scrawled band name or a nervous note worked into the artwork.
