Author's note

Lindau by Markus Waeger is a free light sans serif with tall, spare letterforms, broad curves, and a distinctly modern silhouette. The strokes are clean, nearly uniform, and crisply cut.

Editorial publishing is its strongest setting, especially for architecture and culture, where restrained typography suits the subject. The same slim geometry suits fashion branding, gallery posters, and minimalist packaging, where the rounded forms can echo simple line art and product contours.
