Author's note

Lintel Italic by Jonathan Hill is a free refined sans serif whose steep slant, slender drawing, and generous proportions give it the poise of contemporary editorial lettering. The capitals rise on especially long, clean strokes, and their scale meets broad, softly rounded lowercase forms to create a fluid texture across the line despite the crisp, restrained finish.

Fashion publishing is its clearest home: it can give magazine mastheads, cosmetics packaging, and boutique branding a cool, elongated signature, and the fine strokes echo the spare geometry often found in photography-led art direction. It is particularly suited to fashion and luxury editorial work.
