Author's note

Linux Biolinum O Italic by Philipp H. Poll is a free humanist serif with a brisk forward lean. Its broad capitals combine softly swelling strokes with sharp wedge-like endings. The lowercase is more fluid, with open shapes and long curves that recall careful pen lettering.

Book covers are its clearest role. It also suits cultural magazines, museum programs, and literary event posters, where its measured movement can suggest essays, history, and the arts without looking stiff.
