Author's note

Linux Biolinum Slanted by Philipp H. Poll of Linux Libertine is a free humanist sans serif with a pronounced forward lean. Tall, narrow letters combine firm verticals with fine tapered strokes.

In editorial design, the crisp modulation suits magazine features and book covers, especially for subjects tied to literature, history, or the arts. Packaging and cultural event posters can use the angled lettering as part of illustrated scenes, where its sweeping curves echo drawn lines and delicate engraved details in print.
