Lipi Font

Lipi, designed by Ysh Lemi Cabaña, is a free high-contrast display serif with sweeping calligraphic curves. The forms are theatrical and sharply poised. Broad strokes taper into fine joins, and the repeated dotted forms curl like ornamental brackets rather than conventional lowercase details.

An arts festival poster is an especially good setting for its dramatic silhouette, architectural sweep, and folk-art detail drawn from hand-rendered lettering. The same expressive shapes suit book covers and craft packaging rooted in regional art, handmade objects, or traditional forms. In cultural venue branding, the curling marks can become a small emblem echoed in printed borders or signs.
