Author's note

Livingstone free font by Christine Mauerkirchner and Rainer Grunert is a retro display font with tall, sharply cut serif forms and tapered strokes that create a strong old-style headline presence. Its letter shapes mix narrow verticals with pointed joins and broad curved endings, giving the sample a formal, print-inspired rhythm.

Livingstone fits vintage posters, book covers, logo marks, packaging, and editorial headlines where a historic tone needs a distinct graphic edge. The letterforms carry enough character to support titles, event graphics, labels, and short branding lines without needing extra decoration.
