LLLisa by Markus Schroeppel is a free Russian-inspired eroded display font with tall, uneven letters and a stark, handmade silhouette. Fine scratches and chipped edges interrupt the otherwise solid strokes.
Posters are the strongest setting for its oversized forms, particularly for underground music and experimental theater. The rough lettering also suits album covers and event graphics with a raw, improvised edge. The distressed surface echoes photocopied artwork and worn signage, so the type becomes part of the graphic theme.
