LMMonoLt10-Bold, designed by B. Jackowski and J. M. Nowacki of TeX users groups, is a free bold monospaced slab serif font. Rounded joins soften its sturdy strokes and prominent blocky serifs.
Technical publishing and heritage-inspired branding are quite different settings, yet its fixed-width structure and typewriter associations make it a credible choice in both. It can also lend a purposeful printed quality to software documentation and stationery, or help an independent bookshop build a coherent product identity around practical typewriter-era lettering.
