Author's note

LMMonoLt10, designed by B. Jackowski and J. M. Nowacki for TeX user groups, is a free light monospaced serif with a restrained, typewriter-like voice. Fine strokes and small flat serifs give the letters a quiet, orderly texture with generous rounded curves.

Its measured construction echoes the ruled lines of technical diagrams, making it useful for academic publishing, exhibition graphics, and editorial captions. It is especially convincing on scholarly title pages.
