LMRoman10 Bold, designed by B. Jackowski and J. M. Nowacki, is a free book serif font. Broad letterforms, bracketed serifs, and clear thick-thin contrast give it a formal, established look. Its curves are smooth and measured.
In publishing, it suits scholarly covers and literary magazines, yet the sturdy shapes also fit university branding and event posters. It feels authoritative without looking severe. On a poster, the Roman proportions can turn a title into an inscription-like graphic.
