Author's note

Lora Bold Italic by Olga Karpushina of Cyreal.org is a free bold italic serif with pronounced thick-thin contrast and a distinctly literary bearing. Its broad capitals look stately and assured. The slanted forms keep their curves supple, and the compact spacing gives the lettering a dense, continuous flow.

Book covers are its strongest setting, especially for historical fiction, literary essays, and editions that benefit from an elegant, established voice. It also suits museum posters and cultural event graphics, where the forceful capitals can take a formal title role. In food packaging and boutique branding, the warm curves can connect lettering with engraved ornaments or botanical illustration.
