Author's note
Loverboi, a free groovy outline font from Pendesal Studio, uses puffy rectangular shapes and little inset sparkle details to channel a very clear 1970s pop mood. The rounded corners and low, lounging silhouette make the lettering feel cushioned and graphic rather than sharp or formal.
That combination gives short titles a poster-like role on album art, fashion branding, nightlife flyers, sticker designs, and social posts. It also makes sense for packaging and shop headers where the bubbly outline and star accents can do most of the styling without needing extra illustration.
