LT Oksana by Lauren Thompson of Nymphont is a free retro display font built from clean, high-contrast geometric forms. Its oversized circular letters sit beside narrow uprights and sharply angled joins, creating an eccentric silhouette. The strokes stay crisp and spare.
Against simple line illustrations or geometric patterns, the lettering can act almost like another drawn element. That makes it useful for fashion posters, record packaging, and editorial covers with a late-1960s or early-1970s slant. Its mix of circles and taut diagonals also suits retro-futurist music and design themes.
Original geometric design by Lauren Thompson, of Nymphont first created in 2008. The "deco" midlines and unconventional dotted letter positions as well as the almost vertical slant of the 's' give this font what has been described as a "retro" theme and add to the uniqueness of the typeface.
Version 3.00 release comes with updated kerning and the addition of several characters.
