Lucky Luke by P. A. Vannucci of Alphabet & Type is a free old-school display serif with broad slab forms and a showbill silhouette. Deep cut-ins divide the heavy strokes, and rounded inner shapes soften the imposing capitals.
On posters, the lettering recalls vintage fairground and Wild West signage, fitting event names and entertainment artwork. It is especially convincing in themed branding. Hot sauce packaging, craft drink labels, and novelty merchandise can turn its carved details into part of the illustration.
