Author's note

Lumpin by Andrew Fuller is a free distorted display font with elastic, oddly proportioned letters. Broad swells, pinched strokes, and curling points give the alphabet a lively funhouse silhouette.

Psychedelic poster design is its clearest home. The warped forms also suit offbeat music packaging, festival graphics, and theatrical merchandise, especially when the lettering can play against equally eccentric artwork. In publishing, it can turn a magazine cover line into part of the illustration rather than neutral editorial type.
