Author's note

M Unicode Dawlat by Mohammad Al Shalfan is a free high-contrast serif with sweeping curves and a formal, calligraphic air. Its broad proportions, fine hairlines, and softly bracketed serifs give the letters an elegant silhouette with a hint of classical display type.

Luxury packaging and literary publishing use its graceful stroke changes to different ends. It also fits invitations and cultural event posters. Editorial titling is its strongest use, drawing on the flowing shapes and stately proportions.
