Author's note

MAIA Ideograph by joakin is a free Mexican-inspired pictorial display font modeled on carved Mesoamerican signs. Its compact symbols use thick rounded contours to frame faces, animals, eyes, and architectural forms, with small internal marks suggesting hand-cut ornament.

Museum exhibition graphics are its most convincing setting, especially for archaeology or ancient Mexican themes. It also suits history publishing, game interfaces, and cultural event posters. The recurring masks, creatures, and temple-like shapes let the characters function as miniature illustrations within maps, displays, and educational artwork.
