Author's note

Maja by Miguel Hernandez is a free Mexican display font with a bold maze-like rhythm. The letters turn blocky strokes into stepped corners and curled square spirals, giving the caps a hand-painted mural feel with a hint of folk ornament rather than a strict geometric chill.

It fits posters, festival graphics, record sleeves, restaurant branding, and title cards where a short word can carry the pattern. As a free font, MAJA also works well for monograms or cover lines, because those repeated meander forms make even a few letters feel like a complete border and headline at once.
