Author's note

Malicious by Matt Kammersell of QType is a free distorted display font with jagged, aggressively warped letterforms. Broad strokes break into sharp wedges, hooked ends, and sudden pinched joints. The uneven silhouettes give each letter a cut-paper quality.

Dark fantasy and underground music are its clearest territory, especially for posters, album artwork, and game graphics. It can turn a title into part of the scene. The torn, blade-like shapes echo fractured illustrations, thorny emblems, and rough collage textures, linking the lettering directly to their imagery.
