Author's note

Maline by Florent Courtaigne is a free decorative display font with slender monoline strokes and unusually stretched, looping letterforms. Tall uprights and broad curves create a continuous, ribbon-like silhouette, with several letters dipping or sweeping into their neighbors.

It can turn a fashion label or music poster into a loose, custom-drawn focal point, and its open forms also suit boutique packaging and event graphics. The extended curves let the lettering become part of an illustrated border or logo emblem, especially in projects built around thread, wire, or fine, flowing line art.
