Author's note

Marcellus SC, designed by Brian J. Bonislawsky of Astigmatic, is a free Roman-inspired serif font with stately, inscriptional lettering. Its slender capitals combine pronounced stroke changes with sharp, lightly flared serifs and generous classical proportions.

Museum publishing and formal event programs gain an authoritative historical note from these carved-looking forms. Theatrical posters and luxury packaging can use the same elegant structure for a more ceremonial effect. In branding, it is especially suited to heritage goods, cultural institutions, and refined hospitality.
