Author's note

Marilou by Benoît Sjöholm is a free futuristic sans serif with broad proportions and a sleek, engineered silhouette. Rounded rectangular forms dominate, interrupted by clipped joins and unusual open shapes that give the lettering a custom, almost logo-built appearance.

It can create a streamlined technology identity for software branding, electronic music artwork, and gaming graphics. The wide letters feel especially suited to title sequences. On product packaging, their recurring rounded corners and cutaway details can echo the contours of devices, controls, and other industrial imagery.
