Author's note

MARS Weltfremd by Malwin Bela Hurkey is a free futuristic display font with broad, near-solid letters split by razor-thin seams. Its severe geometry combines towering verticals, clipped corners, and tiny forked cuts that resemble engineered panels or unfamiliar machine code.

Packaging gives this design a convincing home on experimental electronics, games, and science-fiction merchandise. It also suits music posters and title cards. The narrow fissures can echo circuit traces or technical diagrams, letting the lettering become part of the surrounding imagery rather than a separate caption.
