Author's note

Martell Bold, designed by Adrian Candela, is a free high-contrast serif font with an elegant, sharply cut profile. Broad capitals meet very fine hairlines and crisp, wedge-like serifs. The lowercase forms are tall and clean, with rounded shapes that keep the lettering lively.

Fashion editorials gain a refined masthead, while premium food packaging picks up a more formal edge. Its proportions also suit invitations and event posters. On bottle labels, those dramatic strokes can make the name an emblem.
