Masinahikan Dene Bold, by Chris Harvey, is a free serif font with a bookish, old-style tone. The letters feel solid and rooted, with broad serifs, a tall lowercase rhythm, and a slightly calligraphic swing that keeps the texture from turning stiff.
It fits editorial headings, cultural materials, museum panels, book covers, chapter openers, and poster titles where you want a traditional voice without looking antique-shop fussy. As a free font, it works especially well in short lines and title cards, because the strong serifs and generous curves give even a few words a calm, formal presence.
