Author's note

Masonic Tattegrain by Daxad is a free Gothic initials font built around monumental capitals, each enclosed in its own densely ornamented square. The letters mix sharp geometry with engraved linework and lodge-inspired emblems.

A Masonic exhibition poster is its most convincing setting, with related uses in book covers, event programs, and themed packaging that benefit from lettering treated almost as illustration. Compasses, stars, columns, foliage, and radiating patterns turn each initial into a small emblem rather than an ordinary printed character, directly tying the type to fraternal history and ceremonial imagery.
