Material Sans by Davide Mottes is a free sans serif with an assertive, slightly informal build. Broad strokes, compact spacing, and softly rounded corners give the lettering a dense silhouette, but the open shapes keep it from looking blunt. Its curves have a subtle handmade wobble.
Brands aimed at young, design-conscious audiences could use it for streetwear packaging, music posters, and playful editorial covers, where the oversized forms provide an immediate focal point.
