Maus, by James Arboghast of Sentinel Type, is a free old-school 3D caps display font with the blunt swagger of arcade logos and varsity lettering. The letters are tall, blocky, and sharply chamfered, with heavy black edging and hard drop-shadow angles that make the alphabet feel cut from metal or stacked from folded card.
That makes Maus a natural pick for poster headlines, game title screens, zine covers, sports graphics, and badge-style branding where a few words need a loud, built-up look. As a free font, it also suits monograms, cover lines, and short title cards, because the dimensional shadowing does most of the visual work on its own.
