Author's note

MCS Talaya Spined is a free Arabic display font built from tall, squared strokes and open rectangular forms. The letters feel architectural and rhythmic, with repeated upright shapes that read like a row of narrow frames, giving the font a spare, geometric presence rather than a calligraphic one.

That makes it a natural choice for posters, title cards, cover lines, branding, and packaging where a headline can carry a strong vertical pattern. As a free font, it also suits short editorial headers, logo studies, and monogram-like initials, especially when you want an Arabic look that feels rigid, modern, and almost modular.
