Author's note

Mechanic Italic font by Andreas Nylin is a free techno display font with a slanted, squared construction and sharp internal breaks. Its letterforms feel cut from rigid panels, with clipped corners and wide open spaces that give the design a mechanical rhythm without adding extra ornament.

Mechanic Italic works well for logos, poster titles, game menus, tech branding, and motion graphics where a narrow, angular voice is useful. The repeated slant and blocky geometry keep the look consistent across short phrases, so it suits places that need a coded, engineered edge rather than a soft handwritten touch.
