Mechanical Rorschach by Jennifer Heinicke of Fonts-A-Go-Go is a free rough handwritten font with tall, wavering strokes and ragged edges. Its uneven weight and ink-blotted contours make the letters resemble hurried writing made with a worn marker.
Posters and album covers are its strongest setting. The distressed line suits experimental music and underground events, but it also fits merchandise and digital graphics built around photocopied textures, where the lettering can merge with scratches, ink stains, and similarly distressed illustration.
