Author's note

Medieval Scribish by St Rachan Typeworks is a free Celtic Gothic font with the look of manuscript lettering cut into bold black shapes. The letters lean on broad, almost carved forms and sharp wedge-like points, while the rounded interiors and split strokes keep it tied to insular, medieval writing rather than modern blackletter drama.

It fits naturally in book covers, folk music posters, fantasy title cards, pub branding, and event flyers where a free font can bring that old-world, monastic mood without feeling overly fussy. Use it for short headlines, initials, or logo-style words, especially when you want the dark weight and antique curves to do most of the work.
