Author's note
Melee by Swat Kat is a free eroded display font marked by jagged, torn edges and broken forms. The rough texture stays constant across the letters, so the lettering reads like it has been scraped and chipped rather than neatly drawn.
It can headline horror posters, punk flyers, game titles, album covers, band merch, and streetwear graphics, where that damaged edge treatment gives short text a sharper pulse of its own. The same texture also helps logos and event cards feel roughened without adding much extra ornament.
