Mellifluos by Arran Corbett is a free calligraphic display font built from towering strokes, softly pooled curves, and fine connecting lines. Its extreme changes in width give the letters an elegant, liquid silhouette, with enough irregularity to keep the drawing lively.
Its experimental calligraphy suits independent fashion publishing and album artwork, where the stretched forms can set a dramatic, offbeat direction. It also fits luxury beauty packaging and boutique branding. On posters, the sweeping contours can become part of an illustration, echoing ribbons, spilled ink, or elongated organic shapes.
