Author's note

Melting, created by Foopy, is a free distorted display font built from tall, solid capitals with fiercely ragged edges. Sharp triangular bites and spikes repeat across the tops, bases, and inner spaces, making the letters look torn from rough paper. The upright strokes remain stark and simple beneath that restless outline.

Horror posters are its clearest setting, especially for productions that favor raw, handmade menace over polished gothic detail. The same ripped silhouette also suits punk album covers, Halloween merchandise, and game graphics, linking those uses through a rough cutout texture that can become part of the surrounding artwork itself.
